i have some checking compulsions like i repeateadly checking water taps,my motar switch,stove,door keys in place etc. for 2-3 times or sometimes more,so is it ocd compulsions or just a group of habits?

Shasta @mealid I'm not doing anything special to be honest. If I feel a compulsion to check something i just do. But, for me it doesn't happen to an extent that I feel it's a threat or interfering with my life. if it does get to that point, I'll seek help.

Oshy Yes we are only children for a very short time in life. It is sad sometimes to think what happens to us, but again, some people wish to forget their childhood for one reason or another. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could.
