How do you cope up with your toddler having measles?

It's the 3rd night and it's really heart wrenching to see her twist and turn not knowing what to do with the discomfort and cannot go to sleep.

lilybug Fortunately neither one of my children have had the measles. I can only imagine how terrible it must be not only for her, but for you having to see her so uncomfortable. You could try to give her and oatmeal bath. That is supposed to help with itching.

I'm an avid golf fan and lately I rarely read/watch golf news/golf tournament 'cause I know that Tiger is out for the rest of the year. I'd rather play golf than watch golf without Tiger :=)

relundad Benadryl both topical and by mouth will relieve the itching and also help the baby to sleep.

zeny_zion when my daughter had measles i am more careful with the back getting wet by perspiring a lot. because of pneumonia. also the eyes, cause it will make our kids blind too. i do put dropper for protection. like eye mo. its really itchy what i did is to wipe it...
