Does science confirm the bible ?

Are the stories in the bible just stories, or does science prove that they really happened as the bible tells us ?

Lackingstyle Science does have baring on some of the acts that are noted within the Bible, whether it confirms it or not is still left up to the believer/reader. For example the parting of the red sea, which is still parting now, although moses has no hand in it, is down...
