nhtpscd @nhtpscd (1416) • Australia 18 Dec 06

For those who have tried and used these things what did you think of them? I was given on from a friend the other day (I won't disclose the brand) but the design was poor. I had my son in it for a few minutes and he ended up with...

nzbee1980 How old is your child? They have to be a certain age to use a jolly jumper otherwise you get the problem of them bending over if they can't hold their own body weight up. I used one with all three of my older children (and am planning to use one with my baby...

nzbee1980 I like to receive flowers, but I don't like ones bought from a store or florist - I think they are a waste of money! I prefer my husband to pick the flowers himself from the garden (or a local park if he can get away with it - they have much nicer flowers...

Why Do People Choose Jobs on the Production Line, When Managers Make More $ ?

ParaTed2k @ParaTed2k (22936) • Sheboygan, Wisconsin 18 Dec 06

If we are all free to choose our professions, why do some of us choose jobs that we know won't make as much money as other career choices? When I was in the Army, a lot of people asked me why I wanted to be an NCO instead of...

nzbee1980 In some cases working on the production line would actually pay more - with all the benefits and overtime they can do. My husband doesn't work on a production line, but he is a tradesman, his base wage isn't as much as a manager (about $20000 less) but with...
