jenbatres I don't get offended and I don't think others should. We should all be able to live in harmony and respect each others beliefs. If it is not someones belief then they need to look the other way.

shiboleth Santa Claus is not Christian. He is pagan. It is a good think that the princpal did not let the boy come dressed up as a pagan symbol. I think that children should be learning about Christ's birth and not about pagan symbols giving out bribes to make them...

Alohamelly That is ridiculous!! Santa is not even affiliated with a religion. He's a part of the secular celebration of Christmas. People need to lighten up!

Alexanderrp Wow. I don't think that they should be able to tell him that. As the guy below me said, this is a free country. I can almost guarentee that 99% of people celebrate Christmas, even if they are not Christan/Catholic.

sunshinecup Why should they? It's public school, Open to all children in the public. If the Christians want their children exposed to only Christian beleifs, let THEM send them to an exclusive school. Because most school pick between two, either expose ALL traditions...

bryelee Wow, I didn't realize Santa was exclusive to Christianity. Perosnlly I think he should have been allowed to coem in that outfit. I hope we don't loose anymore. We used to have a Christmas party and Christmas break now its the holidays. I am so tired of it.
