shiboleth A good friend is one who encourages you to be a better person and do the right thing. A chat friend who does that is a true friend, even if you never meet them.

Why do some people find it so hard to tidy up after themselves?

It just irritates the hell out of me. if I use a cup etc I'll rinse it out or put it in the dishwasher. We also recycle in my town so I always clean out my milk cartons etc. Likewise if I've any rubbish I'll put it in the bin....

shiboleth I think they should not be presenting such things as if they are normal. It sets a very bad example. I would be angry if I saw such things being paraded in front of my children.

shiboleth I think you may be right that it is pride. I cannot understand how somebody can hear the word of God and be stubborn in their disbelief. All you can do is pray that they see the right way.
