Which is the best O.S. for networking and safe surfing?? Linux or Windows?

Hi friends, I have a computer at my home and i just wanted to know which Operating System would be best for networking and safe surfing. I have heard of Linux but am confused which Linux would be better Red Hat, Mandrake,..etc....

phiroji Windows is the best os for networking and safe surfing and it is easy to work with it.
