Teddy Yes, the past will always be there, it plays a huge role of making us who we are. For now the memories of that past leave me nostalgic, sad and angry, hopefully with time it will only be seen as pleasant memories.

YoghurtGal I know what you mean. When I was younger I also wanted injections to make me fairer but when I studied abroad I’ve learnt to appreciate my brown colour when I see some Aussies burning in the sun just to get a tan.

rebel_woman06 That is true. We may have forgiven a person, but we can never forget the bad that he has done to you. Every time that there is a thing that will remind you of the act, you will always be reminded of the fault of that person.

Rosalin It's right to forgive but not forget. Forgiving someone lighten our heart but forgetting means we didn't get the lesson from it. People who hurt us once, can hurt again.

Debashri Das If you don't forget, you will be in pain. But make sure that you don't let that person make the same mistake. Take that mistake as a warning.
