Do you have a favorite dish or meal when you go out for Chinese? Or are you someone that likes the buffets? I find that if I want one dish of a HIGHER quality, I will go to a regular little chinese place and order that dish. We have a really good one here and their General Tso's chicken is phenomenal. However, if I am in just a general "I want chinese food" mood, we will head for a buffet. What are some of your favorite dishes? Are there any that you really don't like? I am always looking to try new things, so share with me.

Crab Rangoon. I could live on crab rangoon, egg rolls and fried rice. In fact, I did live on these three dishes throughout four years of college. If it's a place I haven't been before, I stick with the buffet. However, I do have a couple of favorite places where I order off the menu because they each have dishes I really like. Once I was taking too long to decide at a restaurant a friend owns. She asked, "You like beef? Chicken? Pork? Shrimp? Broccoli? Bamboo shoots? Water chestnuts? ..." I kept answering her while I looked at the menu, but then she snatched it out of my hand and went back into the kitchen before I could order. She came back with the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. When I asked her what it was, she said "Beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, broccoli, mushrooms ..." She'd just thrown all the things I said I liked in a big pot with tons of spices. She ended up putting it on the menu as "Food of the Drakhan."

Believe it or not, I just had Chinese for the first time over this past weekend. It was awesome. I think it was called General Sou? Chicken and noodles. It came with an egg roll which was ok. Then we bought the chinese donuts. The funny thing about them is we saw the man break open a roll of refrigerated rolls and put them in the frier. I always make donuts with my kids using the same refrig rolls! I told my kids we could have saved $2 if we made the donuts ourselves!

If we are going to eat chinese we normally just go to the buffet. There are a couple of real good ones that aren't that faraway. For my family it is cheaper to use the buffet then to order by the dish.

I have been to the higher end Chinese food places and had Dim Sum and other items that you can't get at the fast food place. But, I usually go to Great Wall, too. I don't go as often because I know they add a lot of salt to their food and I have to keep away from salt. I like Chicken Chop Suey and Broccoli Beef the most. I also like Orange Chicken and Egg Rolls as a treat. I happen to be lucky because where I live in my city is like a little Asia section. There are tons of different types of Asian food to choose from.

Anyone for chinese? - foods
MY husband and I enjoy the buffet places, but when I am in the mood for great goo-goo gai pan, we go to a special chinese restaurant that makes it so wonderful, you dream of it for days! My husband loves the General Tso's spicy chicken like you do and orders it from our favorite reataurant as well.

I don't know if you've ever tried Thai food, but it's similar to Chinese, but better. I particularly love their salad with peanut sauce. Just about any dish on the menu tastes good, though. If you decide to try Thai food, make sure the restaurant you choose is a good one, maybe Zagat Rated. Also, if you don't like spicy food, you might want to tell them so. I love Thai food.

I like a family owned buffet and eat in .Their sweet and sour sauce is the best over chicken. Also good is their Hong Kong chicken but they rarely have it anymore, sesame chicken and cream cheese puffs are good too. I really don't like eggrolls.

I think i`m pretty lucky to be born in Chengdu. That is really a fascinating city. Although it`s not a political centre as Beijingit`s not so advanced as Shanghai, its history is not so achaic as Xi`an, luckily, our food charm the whole country`s tastes, from north to south, from east to west. Sichuan food can`t be specialized only by spicy and hot. What do you say about Sichuan food? I recommend you not miss to try the"huiguorou" known as "twice cooked meat" if you have a chance to Sichuan. That is the time-testing and people-supporting dish Can you recommend some delicious food to us?
