I am a Banker. But i keep away from Credit Cards. CreditCards induce you to spend more than what you can have. Moreover, you constantly live in the fear that what would happen if you lose the Card or someone misuses it. I beleave in planning and budgeting my Expenses.

Having credit card can have a advantages and as well disadvantages. As for the advatages, well it serves as a security specially wherein we are somewhere and we really lack money, we can use it. its very helpful specially when our credit card is accepted internationally because we will not have the fear to go on any transactions. As for the disadvantages, well the number one is the debts that we may be having specially when we are addicted to using it. Buying is easy but paying is very difficult. that is why when we have credit cards it is important to be really responsible in using it.

Credit cards are now an integral tool of life and we cannot think of daily transactions without a credit card. There are several credit cards that are truly helpful during regular transactions. Again it is worth to note that there are several credit cards that are co-branded and special privileges can be found when a purchase is made using a credit card. So,selection of a good credit card is indeed essential. Credit cards are also helpful during financial crisis and through several ATM?s it is possible to withdraw few bucks using the credit cards. So,the demand of credit cards are truly rising an many credit card providers are offering new alluring schemes to motivate the consumers. Credit cards are helpful during online transactions and online transactions are now in vogue.

I only keep one credit card. It is to keep my credit score in good rating and to do things like rent a car when I travel to the U.S. In the US they don't let you rent a car if you do not have a credit card. Also if you use it on vacation, you get the best exchange rate.
I pay my balance in full every month bc I don't like debt piling up.

I am very dependent on it and alway keep it at safely. I have 5 credit cards and I only actively use 2 out of the 5 cards. The reason for me to use the 2 active cards is that they are co branded card and I will be given discount when I use the card to buy their products. One of the co branded card is with a petrol company and it help me to save up to 10%, and the other one is with an airline, it help me to accumulate mileages for air ticket.
The other 3 cards are more for standby, just in case my credit limit is max out, I can use it when I really need it.

State Bank has a good Network and wide acceptability in public. But if you are looking for remittances in other currency you can try ICICI which is a Private Sector Bank.

Dear Friend Anamika/Sheryl/sherly,
I feel there is no need of Credit Cards..It is an idea to earn money from people specially Defaulters..As in today's World everybody is busy so Its difficult for people who are not prompt..
And more over your income is open for them you may also have to pay proper income tax on it..
So people should not go for credit cards..
