Finally turn the notify buttons on for my friends and My earning increase.?

I could not turn on the notify buttons on for all of my friends due to some unknown reasons, I feel sorry for it because I do not know who is starting a new discussion, I am do this now and i will turn the buttons on for everyone, I had finished turning on some of them and I found out that my earning increased in the past few days, may be it is because I can go to the reply page directly, and then I will scan thorugh the replies of the other members.
I will also rate all the replies positive as I want to maximize the earnings of other members,I will be happy if someone reply me. I will also reply to the discussions by my friends, I will try to answer as many as possible according to my interests.
How about you? Do you turn on the notify button? Is your email swarmed with mylot messages? How will you rate the replies from other members and how will you choose discussions to reply?

That is good to hear. I am glad you got them turned on. It isn't your fault. I have mine turned on also for 516 of my friends so far. My email inbox has about 6000 messages for me to go through but I have put them all in a folder that I have labeled as Mylot so it does not overcrowd my mailbox. I go through as many of them each day as I can. I was sick for a couple of weeks and got way behind, but I will eventually get caught up on them. I'm also glad that your earnings increased. Mine went up a few cents also. I rate everyone with a positive also because I want to help them increase their earnings as well as mine also. I will respond to all of your discussions if I can relate to them. I skip over and delete the ones I cannot respond to with some good knowledge.

I think your earnings increased because you are replying to more discussions now. I don't keep track myself anymore but you can try keeping track to see this is so. It probably is the reason though. :P

I think it would make a huge difference especially on a slow connection. I used to be on a slow speed internet where I used to live, because they don't have high speed available there, so I know how long it takes for the pages to load. And from saving one page of loading for every conversation you want to get into, that's a big savings :) I'm happy to see that you found a way to make your earnings go up!

I´ve got the notify buttons for all my friends on. I don´t mind if there are a lot of emails alerting me about the friends who´ve started discussions. In fact, I find it much easier than having to use the site´s feature: "Discussions my friends started", because the posts there are all mixed up.
It´s a good thing that you´ve decided to rate all the responses you get to help other members earn more money. I do the same because I believe that everyone who made the effort to reply deserves to be + rated. Generally I spend the time here answering my friends discussions. I don´t answer them all, just the ones I can relate to.

The notify on button is really that useful. I must take time to study it. After all, it will not take so much time maybe. My children can surely lend me a hand here. It just so happens that I am not good with the intricacies of the internet and when I learned that the notify on activates my email all the more, I just simply forgo with it. It seems that I will be forced to be learning again...Thank you for this, dana.

I have my buttons on for my friends all the time, and I never have time to go to new dicussions from people I don't know but it is fine, there is so many discussions from friends that it does keep me busy.
I find that I am getting paid more as well.

My email account is swarmed with notifications of my friends posts and comments. For a while there I was not receiving any emails but it is back up and have so much to try and catch up on that it is hard. I have my notifications on for almost all of my friends. The only ones that I have turned off are the ones that go around spamming or creating topics that violate the rules. It is hard to keep up with our friends topics without the notifications. I choose the topics that interest me or that I can give a good reply to.

I haven't used the Notify button for when my friends start a new discussion I didn't want my inbox bombarded with Mylot messages I already have enough emails to keep up with... I always go to my friends discussions and try to respond to as many as I can though....

I turn the notify on until I start getting a ton of notices that are all drivel from the same person, then I sort through my friends, find the drivel-poster then turn the notify off on that person.

The Notify buttons for my friends are actuallu turned off, but I always visit the "discussions my friends started" first everytime I log-in to mylot and answer those I haven't placed a reply into.

When I first joined mylot I had the notify feature turned on but I very quickly turned it back off again as I was being bombarded by emails and it was affecting my work!! I do however spend most of my time searching through discussions by "Friends" and these are the ones that I will generally reply to. It is only if none of their topics really grab my attention at the time that I will look elsewhere for topics to respond to.....

I only turned this on whe I got my 1st friend. I didn't even see the button at first then I came across a posting that todl me I should do it. I don't know how it works but it's a good idea especially if your friends are into the same things.

I really check my friends discussions here on mylot because I recieve so many and it really fills my box up.I definitely go through friend list and see if I find something that interest me.

I am always turning the notify button on for all my friends because I like reading last discussions from my friends here...for example I am replying to your discussion after reading the message I found in my mail box...the problem is that the system is not always working well..and there is another problem...sometimes I cannot cope with all the amount of emails I am receiving...I think I have to seek a better way to deal with mails coming from my lot..I like rating positively the replies I receive or the discussions I like and I reply to all the discussions I find it interesting...I am used to starting from my friends to go to similar discussions from other users

I have lots of mails from myLot telling me friends started new discussions. I am sorry I have not the time to respond to all of them. It is quite a shame, because there are many interesting discussions. Don't you think?
Now myLot even started sending e-mails when someone responds to a response I've written - it is so useful, because now I can keep track after my responses.
I am glad to read you increased your earnings by helping others increase theirs - don't you feel better now?

Even i didn't turn on the Notify button for long. I guess 2 days back i checked my friends list and turned on the notify button which kept me busy as long as i was online. I posted some 30 - 40 responses each day.
With all the notification mails pouring in i am checking them in time and posting replies for those discussions which i like. I am rating all the replies on my discussions and will rate the discussion which i am replying for.

I turned on all notices. This is how I got your discussion. I also try to give positive messages and best responses. Congrats on getting the button turned on.
