why is that most of women are home buddies than men?

I am a carer for 4 of my family but I love to be at home at night , I hate to go to church meetings at night and I don't go out if I don't really have to , there is no nicer feeling than having all the housework done everything shining and clean , and just siting there with the laptop on your knee and chatting to friends on My Lot , just heaven to me xx

I think women are made to keep the house clean I mean it has for years and years and that's our duties and I know the times are changing but as for me I prefer to be at home doing what I like and be happy that my husband support his family too.

well, i m a woman and i m not at all a home buddy. i love to be out and if by chance i have to stay back home for the whole day, that mere thought gives me a MIGRAINE attack.i love to set my home, keep it clen, infact my hubby says that i m perfectionist so i m not satisfied with anybody's work. i love work on my house by making it clean, beautiful, love to decorate it but at the same time i love to be out too. at present , by GOD grace, my life is quite busy but i m able to manage my house too. and i feel nice .

Since olden times, the woman's place is at home. This thinking, though is gradually changing, has still not changed fast enough. In some countries, some women are already moving out of home and joining the working world. Man too have become househusbands while the women goes out to work. The trend is changing.

same here..i'm a homebuddy too..i guess that it's a guys nature to usually waste time with things that aren't that important ..lol..no offense meant for the guys huh..hehe guy slike to explore the world more!that's why..hehe

I don't think that's necesaraly true. I like to go out and enjoy the beautiful day, if it's a nice day out. Even if I don't have money, going for a drive or a stroll is such a relief, especially if you're home all day, or for most SAHM home all week. But I do like to stay home and do nothing when it's cold and rainy outside, that's deffinetly a lazy day. I'm not a very good home body

there are lots of reasons, men don't like to be totally alone so if they live alone they tend to go out with friends women often are stuck at home with the children and cannot drag them around everywhere. women like to clean and so there is always something in the house to clean women talk longer on the phone than men so they still can social over the phone. for most women their home is a reflection of who they are and the are proud of it, whereas for many men it is a place to sleep and that is it.

I am often to house, but for my disease otherwise I would be often outside with the dog........o going around or finding friends, not expenses and I dont like the shopping

Now atleast, there are little female home buddies, during my mothers time, almost all women were home buddies. It is appreciable that females are coming out of their home to support the men and their family.

What you are doing is peacfull life, but now a days men and women both have to go to works, then only they can maintain and run the family and enjoy more...

What I believe is this is due to insecurity in outside. Because of this only women find themselves secured and happy with household things. Other logics like women are god gifted to take care of home etc. just to hide the real reason.

I think it depend on the situation.My wife likes to work and help me in raising the family.At first I really wanted her to stay at home but I found out that she wanted to finished her studies and look for a job in order to help me in raising the family.So I then,respect her decision for I know that she will be happy too.

i think i agree to you at some extent, but still we cannot generalize that women are indeed home buddies compared to men. you see. i myself enjoy being at home. watching DvD's and surfing the net the whole day, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, sweeping the floor, cooking and other house chores. i guess this has something to do with females being the nurturing one. coz moms are the one who do these house chores and are the ones who are left to care and nurture the children. maybe that's why females are homebuddies because they are trained to how they should be in the near future.

women is considerd as home maker she takes care of home childrens garden ect. now a days u amy find many working womens too but still percentage is low as compare to total percentage of women. In my counrty India now women are preffring to do job so as to get financial independance and to help his husband so as to lead a happy life

if i don't have money and no where better to be that is definetly where i'll be . But to be honest i don't enjoy the times i spend at home !

Yes I like to be at home to I prefer sitting in my own comfort and I prefer to be on the Computer, read my Book and now and again watch the TV but not very often lol

I used to work 40+ hours a week, until I had to go on temporary disability. And I have to admit, even though the reason I am home now isn't the best, I still love it. I love being able to just putter around the house and relax, or do the housecleaning, or whatever I feel like doing.

i am a woman and staying home 24/7 to me is and always has been the most boring thing to do!I loved it when i was working and now that i am old i go out every day home is now a very lonely place if it wernt for my lot i would be very unhappy !

Hey Cherriemae. I dont why most women are home buddies then men. But I do know that my husband and I love staying at home, and appreciating what we have and one another, we may do our gardens, what ever :)
