So who has some nice slow cooker recipes that they would like to share?
I am not a great cook, but ever since I bought a slow cooker I am getting more and more interested in developing some nice recipes because there is so much less that can go wrong lol.

My grandma used to make this, and it's the best soup.
~Ingredients~
5 lbs red potatoes
1 white onion, chopped
2 tablespoons chicken granules
~White sauce ingredients~
6 tablespoons cornstarch
6 cups milk
3/4 cup margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
3oz. jar of bacon bits (I use Kraft)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
~Place potatoes, chicken granules and onion in a Dutch oven; cover with water. Cook until potatoes are tender, drain potatoes, leaving them out of the crockpot.
~For the white sauce - In the crockpot, mix the cornstarch and milk until smooth. Add margarine, seasoned salt, red pepper, and black pepper. Stir constantly, while bringing to a boil over medium heat until it thickens. Add potatoes, bacon bits, and cheese. You can make this up the day before, and put it in the crockpot for several hours on low, to warm up before serving.

I just had some breat BBQ sandwiches this week from a crock pot. Just get a pot roast and place it in the crockpot. Pour a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce over it and add seasonings that you like. I would suggest liquid smoke, hot sauce, onion or garlic powders, chili powder, etc. Turn on low and let it cook for 8 hours. When the time is up, the meat will be so tender it just shreds in the pot. Shred and serve with bread or hamburger buns. I usually put mayo and pickles on mine, with a jalepeno on the side. Super easy and you can pick up some cole slaw or potato salad at the grocery store.
Also, this jambalaya recipe is very good:

You can make it on high or low.

You can make just about anything in a crock pot. I found out a couple of years ago you can even make oatmeal for breakfast in the crockpot.
What you do is put the oatmeal in the pot with milk, butter, nuts, raisins, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and a little coconut if you like coconut.
(I don't remember the exact amounts)
But you put it on to cook overnight so when you wake up in the morning you have hot oatmeal already made.
It tastes sorta like granola, and it is really good.
The only bad thing is you want to serve all the oatmeal at once and get the pot washed because it can stick really bad.
I need to get another crockpot soon the one I had was broken when we moved.
A crockpot can be a time saver and help you to get more done each day.
You can look online and find many crockpot recipes.

That is an excellent idea. I realize how important slow cookers can be for a large number of people. One can throw ones stuff into a slow cooker in the morning and disappear for the rest of the day. In the evening when one is back from work, he will have hot sizzling food. One major advantage of slow cookers is that they do not have any danger of burning food.
I hope there will be a lot of demand from working people and others in future not only for slow cookers but for slow cooking recipes as well. I feel I have a bunch of slow cooker recipes in my computer somewhere. Over the next few days, I will try to pull them out and start posting them here with good luck. Keep up.

Spicy Chicken Wings in Barbecue Sauce
-3 pounds chicken wings (16 wings)
-1 1/2 cups any variety barbecue sauce
-1/4 cup honey
-2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
-salt and pepper to taste
-Tabasco to taste (optional)
Rinse chicken wings; pat dry. Cut off and discard wing tips then cut each wing at the joint to make two sections. Sprinkle wing pieces with salt and pepper; place wings on an lightly oiled broiler pan.
Broil about 4 inches from the heat for 10 minutes on each side, or until chicken wings are nicely browned. Transfer chicken wings to crockpot.
In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, honey, spicy mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco. Pour sauce over chicken wings. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on High 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Serve directly from slow cooker, keeping temperature on LOW. Makes about 30 chicken wings.
