Sure does anything goes in the Internet. For a moment there i thought this is something unhealthy but reading the discussions, there seem to be a fairer story than how it looks or sounds to be. Would it be a good idea? That surely depends on the emotional level or tolerance of people. Easily this can be misconstrued for anything or probably it is. But i think this is worth going over to its site ( there is even a site for this !!!)
Thanks for the thought.

Please Marcie Please, I am cyber begging you, can I have some money. Please!! I am sure you are saying that women is nuts, I am not giving her any money. Since I can't have any money, can I get some chicken, I know you got some of that. Seriously though, it is hard to believe that people will just beg for money or whatever, do they think people are just going to give them what they want.

I have had a housefire and so made a website about that seeking help. I have gone there and put my site there. So far only crooks have contacted me. Such a shame when the site offers such promise to allow for tax write offs to charity and such. People do have real needs and to connect those people is a noble idea. Promoting your site for selling etc is not the intent of that site. It costs about 15 dollars for 3 months of listing. I took a chance. So far it is a dud from my experience.

I hate it and I always ignore them. I don't think it has any place being here on myLot.

I haven't come across it yet here at MyLot, but then again, I'm a relative newbie. I can understand why people do it here rather than do it on their own blog or website. Here, one gets more exposure, and there's a better chance of someone reading your post. If you don't promote your blog well or don't have a large following and referral link system, it's easy for your blog to get lost in Neverland. I'm not saying I approve of this. I don't.

I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about. Are you talking about promoting a site by posting reference links? Because that's really against Mylot rules. Or, are you talking about people wanting you to respond to their discussions? I don't suppose you have people asking you, personally, for money.

I havent seen anyone begging for money before on mylot. i have seen people promoting referral links on here. i think that is against the rules but i am ok with it. i limit my referral links only to my blog: http://darkzzt.blogspot.com/
i will never post referral links on mylot because it is a place to talk about stuff, not get referrals.
