The highest paid was the CEO of Occidental Petroleum at over $52 million and the lowest on the list was Eric Schmidt of Google who made over $550 thousand. Check it out!
I make $9.60 an hour! LOL

Those CEO's have too large of compensation packages and they do not do a service like a teacher. The imbalance is quite marked and really unfair. We could possibly get together and urge change and things could eventually get better.

It is amazing the difference in the salaries of the CEO's in this country and world. I would be more than happy to have either of those people's salaries as they blow me away big time in the money and job department. I only make $12.75 an hour at my job so I have a long way to go to catch them. LOL It certainly must be nice making all of that money.

I know, and a lot of them think they don't have enough. It's funny when rich people think they're poor. It's a matter of perspective. I know someone who makes excellent money, but keeps crying poor mostly, I think, because he is poorer than a lot of his friends. He has way more money than I do and gives him a lot of things I never had. But, he's always saying how he has the smallest house, or has to buy such and such because of his job, etc.

It's amazing how some people can earn thousands and thousands of money every month. For general people like us, that is a dream only. Even we don't think also that we can earn that much money sometime without getting a lotery. But still most of those people don't feel that they have enough money, and they want more and more. People are only like this, they never get satisfaction with their earning.

It was really a great contrast. I am the CEO of my house and I don't even earn 50 thousand a year :P
What people make in a day, I take months or even years. How unfair! The world is such, the case of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. What else can I do but envy *sniff*
