i'm going for my last drivers test. in canada you start with your learners then a year later you go for your g2 which gives you the right to drive alone and then your G is your final. i'm going for my G. it's been an 8 year process for me, cause i never wanted to do it at first and then i waited for as long as i could between liscence expiration dates because i'm so nervous at these tests. i don't want to fail.
do you get nervous at things like this.
i have to go practice my parallel parking. i hope i do good.

Best of luck to you! If it helps, chew some gum while you are driving. It may help keep the nerves at bay and give you something else to think about.

I wish you alot of luck with your driving test. I get really nervous when it comes to me doing these kinds of things also. I will put things off also because I get so nervous and I do not want to put myself out there to be made fun of be embarrassed if I happen to fail at something. I put it off until I can build up enough confidence to just go ahead and get it over with. I hope you do well with your test and pass it so you will not have to mess with it anymore.

thanks, i can't put it off anymore. i just bought a car a month ago. and now with the G2 licence i have if i get stopped by the cops for anything i'll lose my liscence completely. i don't want to start from the beginning again and take a couple more years to work back up so i thought i'd better get the finished liscence before something happens.

Thats true,I am also from canada, i have recently passed the knowledge test of G1 and there was really some straight forward questions, but the stupid rule is that we have to wait for 8 months to apply for the G2 test and i feel that its really riduculous and waste of time, since driving a car is really a requirement in north america, secondly my friends have adviced me that they would generally fail me if am driving for the first time, but i am determined and confident and positive that i would pass my G2 exam, and moreover i was told that oshawa is best place to take a driving examination since they generally would not ask you to do any parallel parking and just need to know how to drive on main roads. And always have positive thoughts about your success and be optimistic and u would never feel stressed out or nervous.

I have been driving since I was about five or so. My dad used to put me on his lap and I would steer the car. I had family that lived in the country and I got to drive on the farm. When it came time for me to get my drivers license here in Maryland I thought I was ready. Maryland makes you take a written test first to get your learners. I failed the written test four times. When I finally passed I practiced parking for about a month. I went up and passed the actual driving test the first time. I was very nervouse but passed with flying colors. My daughter is very nevervous too but I am sure she will do well when the time comes. I hope you do well.
