Do your children participate in the school play?

My daughters love to be in the school plays. Every year this is a big deal for them. They don't care what role or character they are assigned. They help to set up the stage, lights and sound. They learn a lot about team work and what it is like to have a job well done. My husband even helps the play group with the lights and the sound. What about your children? Do they get involved with the school play?

I hope she has a good performance experience. You should post a picture of her in her costume so we can see your little star.

When my son was in high schol he did stage crew a few times, but when the practices last well past 9 PM several nights a week, I thought they were pushing the limits of a school activity, but he liked it and it kept it out of trouble...so I can not complain.

The play is the thing!!!! Tomorrow the play will go on. My husband is taking the day off from work to help the lighting and sound crews. Then they have another performance Friday night and Saturday night. I have the cameras ready to record this event in our daughter's lives. Then we will get back to some of the more normal schedules.
