Okay, every one has a chore that they absolutely just dred, Personally I hate Dishes, I do them once a day (in the morning). But my sister-in-law gets oiverwhelmed at the sight of folding her laundry, so much so that she doesn't fold them, she throws them in a pile by her bed. So What about you? What's the chore you dred? Do you fold your laundry? Or throw them into a pile? Do you get over whelmed when you see the mountain of clothes waiting to be folded? do you just tackle the pile one item at a time, or do you dig through it to pull out all the towels first so the pile appears to vanish quicker?I fold all the towels, then I fold all the jeans and pants, By getting rid of the larger items in the pile, I can see the pile dwindle in size quicker, therefore I feel I'm actually acomplishing something, and don't feel at all overwhelmed. . . . Do you have any special methods you use, to help you tackle the never ending list of chores?

My favorite chore is actually doing laundry. I wash, I will either throw the clothes in the dryer or I will hang them out on the clothesline. I make sure I either fold or hung the laundry to put it away. The one chore I hate is dishes. I have gotten better about doing the dishes. I normally do the dishes twice a day. After lunch I will do the breakfast and lunch dishes and after dinner I do the rest. My children take turns putting the dishes away. For some reason they like to put dishes away.

My favorite chore is vacuuming. The noise is relaxing and I love to watch the floor become cleaner as I go. It's an easy chore, really.... until furniture moving time (which I don't do every day but once a week instead). Dusting can be a real pain too when you have lots of knick-naks!

I hate folding too. It takes a lot of time and is also very tiring. More tiring than cleaning the bathroom!

I have always hated doing dishes! I especially hate cooking with dirty dishes in the sink. My special method for this dreaded chore is to delegate this chore to my nephew and daughter so I only have to do them once or twice a week ; ) Doing laundry is okay but I'd rather spend one whole day getting it finished. I wash my towels seperately and roll them so they are faster to fold and take up less space when I put them away. I always save folding the socks for last. Then I can sit down and sort and match while watching tv and my son (6 years old) loves to help make matches with me!

Can't think of any special methods, just that I don't mind folding laundry or ironing, because those are two things I can do while sitting down listening to music, or watching TV, if I choose.

i am weird! i guess i am the only one who loves to do the dishes. i always volunteer to wash them but i beg off when it comes to the pots and pans :) in terms of laundry, if i am not tired at all, i will also volunteer to do the folding. i start with the small ones like the undies then the shirts, then shorts, pants, towels, and finally the bedsheets. i fold it nicely that there are times when there is no longer need to be ironed. the chore i hate to do is ironing the clothes. i feel hot when i do that so i iron as fast as i could,.

I dont like dishes either, but my new years resolution was to always have an empty sink. I have really tried to keep this and it has helped. I find that if I do the dishes after lunch. THen it isnt such a big chore at night. I also wash as I cook to help cut down on the after meal clean up I fold my laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer. Or off the line. That way I only have one load at a time to fold. I fold everyones clothes and put them into seperate laundry baskets. Then I put the baskets on their beds so they can put them away.

I fold my laundry. I don't want a big wrinkled mess. The only chore I don't mind is vacuuming but most others I have to just try to get through quickly.

In my experienced those routine chores i considered as a career since it is not easy to do the chores in the house and without compensation at that .. which means that you have done it due to your love to do it and no ones asking you on it..

I hate to do dishes. but i have learned that if you clean the dishes you use as you use them, they do not pile up and create a monster pile of dishes with cakes on stuff and they are much easier to deal with. So before i eat my supper or whatever i am making i try to at least rinse the dishes so they are easier to clean after i eat. or if i'm waiting for my hubby to be ready to eat (which sometimes takes forever) then i'll wash up the dishes i used to cook before i even eat! I also hate to clean the bathroom. Just cause its the nastiest room! its where you go to get clean, but i bet its the dirtiest room in anyones house. I tend to clean it about once a week, and once a month i take the javex to every single little corner and cranny in there! lol. for some reason i dont mind folding the laundry.. its not that big a deal for me. i even enjoy folding the babies clothes cause i get to see all the cute little things she has and put these pants with that shirt. lol. maybe i'm weird.

For now im no sure wat i can tell you since i dont do the chores in the house , if ive got the chance i help but not frequently sinch im the bread winner of the family, but maybe i could make some tips on how to deal with it, acceptance is the factor here, must aknowledge and accept it that it is the part of our existence unless we got so much money and let somebody do the job.

I'm with your SIL all the way! I too HATE HATE HATE folding laundry! I'll wash them, throw them into the dryer and toss them onto the bed. But folding and putting them away is my mountain. Dishes aren't that bad because I have my children do that sometimes. But I don't trust them to fold and put away the clothings the way I like it.

Well you can call me weird but i love to do laundry and i really love it if i can skip the dryer and use a clothes line the clothes smell so good. I get a good drying day outside i am up and at it early so i can do some serious laundry. I love to sit and watch tv and fold them i dont find it work i find it relaxing to tell ya the truth as i do with all household tasks about the only thing i dont like is when i decide to bake i would love to have someone else do the dishes as i cook up a storm. But i find all household chores relaxing from the other things in my busy life. I dont have a system other than room order and set days for bedsheets and other linen apart from regular laundry. Have a great day folks.

I dred having to wash all the dishes, I'm the one who does them all the time. I hate having to wash the dishes after every meal, i've gotten used to just washing the same ones whenever we're done eating that way I don't have a sink full of dishes.

Doing laundry is probably my favorite household chore. Folding laundry, however, is at the bottom of my list. I let them pile up in my (clean) hamper and when I can't take it anymore, I finally sit down and fold them, all the while wishing I was doing something else. A few months ago, I got a hold of a product called flip and fold and it actually made folding laundry a little bit easier, if not enjoyable. I think they have a website so you might want to check it out.

I don't like doing dishes either. I have the same habbit as you. I let them pile up all day and wash them first thing in the morning. I don't know why I dislike it so much.... All house work is never ending :)

My one dreaded chore definitely has to be doing the dishes. I just hate the fact that it seems like as soon as they are done and put away, they are dirty again. I am definitely investing in a dishwasher..lol. As for laundry, I fold them as soon as they come out of the dryer..load by load, and that way they never really pile up. Putting them away is a different story..lol. My daughters and I have so many clothes that we need another house to use just as a closet!

I absolutely hate folding laundry. If I could afford it, I would just go buy new clothes. The dishes are not too hard since we have a dishwasher. Vacuuming cleans the carpets and the air. I think I like vacuuming cause it freshens the house.

I hate dishes too. my mom always got me to do the dishes growing up, my brother and sister didn't do a very good job at it so even when they were old enough i still got that chore. So I feel like I have always had to do dishes. I let mine pile up and it's awful cause then I have a ton to do, I get in my moods where I will wash them everday, like 3 times just to keep the house clean then I get lazy and let them go again. i hate laundry too, I never seem to get it caught up. I wanna hire a maid..lol. not a chance.
