caramel on flan, anyone?

i really love caramel! i actually once made my own with lots of cream, and it tastes alot better. now i'm using it on flans and as dip on breadsticks... what's your favorite food to make?

I love caramel! I never take flan without it. I also have a knack of overcooking the sugar a bit so the caramel can also have that distinct burnt taste. How do you prepare yours?

i also overcook it a bit, but i want it not too sweet that's why i put a little salt in it. i also like it chilled to make chewy, which is by the way my favorite partner for choco bars... lol

our flans are always with caramel, too. i can never think of having flans without caramel to go with it. this is best eaten cold. the taste is very heightened when the flan is chilled.

for us, it is caramel on flans. flans always tastes great on caramel and nothing beats that.
