Our third campsite on our time away was in the Dryandra Forest. There was some houses there that accommodated forestry workers. There are also several other campsites, one of which we stayed at in our motor-home. Vince’s brother...

You’ve all been through a day like today, so I won’t pretend I’m the first one to ever have “one of those days.” I’m glad it’s over.
There were lots of blessings, believe it or not. We had a lot of memories and stories swapped...

I don't know if you can tell but in the above photo Tuffy is showing concern for Roscoe. He's been doing this ever since Roscoe showed his fear of the noises that the strong winds make on this mobile home. Tuffy also likes to...

I owe all this reminiscing to @fourwalls, she keeps reminding me of...

I took a free hearing test last night through the AARP. I never had such a thing before. Usually hearing tests consist of those tones that you had to indicate whether you have heard or not. This test was having to pick spoken...

rebelann1949 I would love to have a wild animal like that get that close to me. The only 'wild' animal I ever had the priviledge to share food with were some very friendly kangaroo rats that used to frequent a drive through burger joint. Sadly that joint no longer exists.

The photo shows a bridge which has collapsed. It is Pumphrey’s Bridge in Western Australia and wasn’t very far from the farm where I grew up. You can see the guide posts on the collapsed part. There is a much stronger bridge over...
