Taking time off from myLot

This discussion is mainly for my friends and apologize for it being breif but I am rather rushed and don't have time to message all my dear friends.
I am afraid for the next 3-4 days I will not be able to respond to many if any discussions - please don't delete me from your friends list for this but work calls.
Some of you know for a month or more I've had a writing assignment, an e-book 60 pages. I've been for several weeks waiting for information from the client that they wanted included in the book (in the first 2 chapters). I've worked on later chapters as best I could but now need to do the first and do some editing to make sure the following chapters all fit properly. The client now wants the finished product ASAP - first of the week!So, no myLot for Faith these next few days. I do receive all of my friend's discussions in my e-mail and will read those all as I take breaks but will only respond to the ones I feel need my urgent attention - prayer requests and such for sure.

:) thank you Wizard I appreciate that - afraid I'm not having much fun though. The client wanted interviews included in the first chapters but they wanted to do the interviews. The client, the manager of the company I write for, and myself all agreed on the questions to ask in the interviews (supposed to be 3 seperate ones). One interview came back fine but they combined the other 2 in one interview and did not stick with the questions at all... ERRRRRR just makes my life miserable and I'm already erritated having to wait so long and then be rushed.

OH the presure has gotten worse since I was last on myLot - what was holding us up was 3 interviews which the client wanted to do themselves. One was fine but the other two are total trash - I could not believe it when I read through, I can use next to nothing from the mess.
Emailed my boss and told him the facts then said if I had a couple more days I could do the interviews myself locally and get what I needed. He emailed back do what I need to do he'll deal with the client.

Hi faith,I would never delete you as my friend,you are one of the nicest,sweetest christian ladies that i have here on mylot as my friend.I know that you cannot devote all your time here to mylot.You go ahead and spend some time with these things that you need to catch up on,and i for one will be here when you return.I do wish you much blessing in completing you e-book...i will be waiting for your return..Your friend slickcut

Hi faith, go ahead and do your stuff. I'm sure it will take so much of your time. I sure can't write like you. I can only write short articles which I have placed on another site together with some mylotters. It is just a hobby of mine and I enjoyed having the chance to put my thoughts and knowledge in medicines there.
You know, you can also join there. Its free and no referral needed. You'll be amazed to see that there are other mylotters that you will recognize. Good luck on your writing assignment. God bless you.

Thanks sweetie - when I'm finished with this I may get with you about that other site. I have a whole list of ideas for articles I would like to write but just seem to never get around to them.

Thanks my dear fishing buddy - really stinks though this weekend it's supposed to be nice and would be a great time to take off to the lake and go after a few nice bass or pike...

LOL - those darn bills, if people would just understand I enjoy making a few dollars on mylot far more than the $400 I'll make for the e-book :)

Don't worry we will still be here for you when you get done. I would never delete someone for not responding. I have friends that I have responded to for weeks because I have not seen their posts. I may get deleted but I just can not be here a lot and have lots going on.

Don't worry I wouldn't delete you or anyone else for not being here for a few days. (few months well that is different)
You have a life outside of myLot and that really needs to come first. I hope you are able to get everything done on time and that it is a huge success!!

Oh no I definately would not delete you from my friends list I know that you are extremely busy and that is fine with me as I understand and if friends are truly your friends then they would understand you and not do this to you. No problems. You must fullfill your other commitments first, otherwise you will just get stressed out.
As you are making great progross with getting your writing published, you wouldn't want to slow it down now.
By the way, I have read your article & will PM you with my comments on this excellent piece of work soon.,
