maildumpster I strongly recommend it. It is a self teaching curriculum so it makes things a bit easier. VERY heavy on reading though. The price is real good too!

maildumpster I use tvp in things where I won't notice it. My favorite is the chili. I have also tossed some in meatloaf (ok so that is not a vegan recipe) I do that to extend the meat AND to lower the fat content. I have tossed it into tomato sauce too for mock meat sauce....

maildumpster There are many different ways of learning. Even within the school setting; the teacher/books provide the information, it is still up to the child to learn it. So self teaching is really a natural extension of a child's desire to learn. We all have it in us....

maildumpster I'm glad you got a good laugh. Problem is these are generalizations that just do not apply to all Christians or even most. I know you don't wish to fight; nor do I, but I found your post insulting. I am sure some others do to.

maildumpster Thanks for the sympathy. It helps knowing people care. Turn on some worship music and let the spirit grab you! One that I really like (and really did not like when I first heard it) is "Mourning into Dancing".

maildumpster Amen! Prayer is our way of talking to our Lord. It is a wonderful thing! Sometimes though we just need to praise our way to joy! Thank God we can do just that!
