I have an above 140 iq and I certainly am not rolling in dough. I suppose there is a higher iq where you can become wealthy but I have not attained to that yet. Too smart for ditch digging, and not smart enough to be in charge of a company. And I rather prefer to work alone, I would question why something is done a certain way. Say that could be the reason we're not rich. We question the methods too much.

I agree with you. I have a "genius" friend who having trouble to fit in into the system/society because he sees the world in a different ways. He had changed jobs so many times and had trouble to stay put at one company for a long time. The reason was his observation sometimes just annoyed other people although he might be true most of the time.

It's all relative. I've seen people that didn't pass the second grade and have make more money in a day than my whole family in 1 year. I've also seen pretty intelligent persons that don't live too well now...

Spot on.I guess the attitude is more important than intelligence.

I don't think it's true either. I have a higher than average iq, but it doesn't help me to get good jobs. I don't think it makes much of a difference really.

for me its not base on intelligence itself but have some factor that will make somebody rich and famous, one factor maybe you must have a great common sense in you whatever you do in your life plus hard work and strong motivation, intelligence for is only a plus to succeed more.

No, I don't think so. Just because someone's IQ is high, it says nothing about their common sense.
