I was offered a lot of money through a dodgy deal but I refused it as I felt the karma from that money would only bring me untold grief and suffering in the future and prefer the hard slog of earning my honest buck, the hard way lol. Have you ever been in this situation? Os if you are what will you do?

No, I wouldn't. I don't believe that money earned by cheating people would make anyone happy. Perhaps it may feed your budget for a limited time but it eats up your soul. I prefer to live in peace with myself and God. There are honest ways to make money, it may take more time but it lasts longer, and I can be proud of my achievements.

It sounds a bit odd to me, related to Nigerian scam. I responded a discussion once about it, and then I made a small research. Take a look http://www.quatloos.com/scams/nigerian.htm , it seems to be the same scheme.

exactly. I was offered to move 30 million bucks from a govt official in China, I really don't know where he found me lol. I would like to help him to use the money for the Chinese, in China to help his peole..I don't want 20% of it or any thing like that..I may be poor but my Honour has no price..I would still like to help the man if I could..to help his country, that money belongs to the Chinese..

i honestly believe that you will never gain any benefit from ill gotten gains. Something will always happen to rob you of any advantage, so no i would not get involved in anything dodgy even though im poor blessed be

Yes, I would like to, although the opportunity has never presented itself to me, however my conscience would play heavy on my mind and would I be able to sleep at night knowing that I had done something dodgy and could get caught out or found out? Yes I believe in karma too and I've got enough bad karma around me at the moment without adding to it lol

I have not been offered a lot of money in that way, but I have come upon internet earning ideas that fall in that category. Somehow, even though I am of better than average intelligence, and can be very driven, I just cannot do these deals. I am here at myLot, which is very honest, and I am slowly picking up on some other, honest opportunities, but I like to be very careful. I do not necessarily believe in Karma, but I do know that you get what you project. I still believe that honesty is the best policy.

Whatever i do for money it would have to be done legally. I wouldn't want to suffer in the long run,.

If i was broke and a dodgy deal presented itself to me and i would earn a lot of money from it but it was not entirely legal would i take it - yes. If i had quite a bit of money, just about enough to pay bills and stuff, and a situation presented itself to earn some money that was not entirely legal, would i take it - yes. I will always try and earn some extra money be it legit or not, although i would make sure its not a bank raid or something that would have high chance of being caught.

THat would depend. If it was illegal, I probably would turn it down. However, if it wasn't illegal, & if it sounded like something fun, I'd probably enjoy doing it & getting that nice pile fo cash to boot.

Good morning Yanjiaren. It's a beautiful morning here. well when I first read your discussion I though You were talking hypothetically. But on reading your response to jakker I realized that you were serious. The 30 million dollar deal is a scam. You have to be care full of these types of offers. I have gotten several of them . The latest being a man wanting to give his wealth to charity but his family was getting in the way by taking it before hi passed on. He wanted me to take it and keep some for my self and give the rest to some charities. See discussion http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1007769.aspx. These jokers are all over the place and looking for naïve people to dupe.

Really I have learn't from life that no matter how nicely and easily you have earned the money, nut if you have cheated someone for it you will never be able to enjoy it or even use it. It will always harm you. I would never like to do any thing dodgy to earn money even if I were very poor. I believe in hard work and gain. Its slow but sure and at the end it makes you happier and for long as well. Any ways Take Care May GOD Bless YOU

I would not accept it even if it's over a million dollar offer.I would rather prefer to live a decent way of living than to earn it from some dodgy deal.Money can be earn but the dignity cannot be earn instead it is always be respected and honored.

I would definitely not take the offer as I do not believe in living on something that is dirty. Just imagine you will be using that dirty money to buy your food and also to feed your family. All of you will be living on dirty stuffs. I rather be poor but clean rather than rich but dirty.

I would never do anything that would hurt someone else.Of course if my children were suffering I might bend my rule but not at the cost of hurting others. When all is said and done I have to be able to live withn myself and even if nobody else would know I would.Good discission..Makes us thing..aThat's a good thing

Like you Sis, I'm afraid of karma. I prefered to work hard for it. Then indulge in unlawful or bad activities to earn my money. And to add, it makes me feel so low and degrading, I hated the feeling. I'll rather earn it from good deeds. (^^,)

It would depend on how dodgy the deal was. I love little excitement and risk, but not too much. If it was the sort of thing that would keep me awake at night with worry, then no, short of preventing my family from starving or homelessness, I wouldn't do it.
