George is leaving?!?!?!

I hope George doesn't leave! He is one of my fave characters. I think he is just going through alot right now feeling bad about the Izzie thing but then again their actions basically cost their whole friendship. I personally hope him and Callie (even though I REALLY like her) to get divorced and him get with Izzie. I always knew there was a connection there. It's really hard to be friends with a guy without it basically ending in a love interest ... atleast it is on TV.

I was just assuming that he either would not end up leaving, or, if he did leave the hospital that he'd still be in the show. I hadn't thought of him being gone. I hope not!

I read that the actress who plays Callie wasn't signed for next season. Also, if Addison's spin off doesn't go well, she will return to Grey's Anatomy because of a clause in her contract.

Any time an actor leaves a cast it takes some getting used to. It's really not a big deal. After all, as much as I like the show, it has very little redeeming moral value. It's mostly about who's cheating on whom with whoever. Just a not-too-serious bit of escapism.

Where did you hear George is leaving? The storyline certainly hints that it's going to happen. Will he be joining the spin-off with Dr. Montgomery? Anyone know what will happen to Dr. Burke? Will Christina and him get married?

I don't want George to leave... and i really won't care if he goes with Callie or Izzie, he just shouldn't leave. He's one of those characters on the show that breaks the drama between Meredith and Derek's storyline and Yang and Burke's struggles. It would be unhealthy for O'Malley's character to exit the show unless of course, production finds a way to attract viewers, especially the George fans, back to their plot.

I don't think he will leave the show but may not be at the hospital any longer. Afer all, he failed his exam. It didn't appear that he would do internship all over again since he was cleaning out his locker but he could also change his mind. I think George will be totally and emotionally broken and it will be anyone's guess as to how this love triagle ends up.

I think he will realize that his marriage won't work either way. I hope he does this before he leaves or maybe this will just be a short time thing, the marriage still won't work and he will be back! One way or the other, I think he will be there and not gone for long if he goes at all. Wow...that sounds a bit confusing huh?

The actor was on a talk show and mentioned he doesn't like the Izzy Storyline, so this is possible. I hope he doesn't leave, as he is my favorite character on the show. Several sources have mentioned somebody is leaving, but to many names have been mentioned. I have heard 4 different names and if the rumor is true, then hope Burke is leaving.

I think Callie sees the fact that George and Izzy have something more going on right now. Callie should confront George and then just let him go. He's not emotionally there for her, and she deserves more. They ought to both opt out now, than live in a 'pretend' marriage for the next 50 years.

I wouldn't be surprised if he left. From what I read, there has been majopr tention among the staff memebers. With Burke using that bad word. Izzy and her tantrum against Burke. And they are all upset that Addison get's her new show and no one else. A bunch of babies in the real world, if you ask me.

I don't think he will leave. At least I hope he doesn't. I'm not a huge Izzy fan so I wouldn't care if she left at all. lol I don't think he will be allowed/given the transfer and he will have to stay.

I dont really like George and Izzy as a couple, I think hes much better suited with Callie... Izzy is too...dizzy. I hope he doesn't go, he brings quite a lot of comic relief to the show.

I think he won't leave... it's just to create an expectation for tonight's episode. ;)

I hope that he isn't leaving but I also heard the rumor about T.R. leaving Grey's Anatomy but I hope it's just that...only a rumor... I like his character on the show. I don't care if Addison is leaving to get her own show but I hope they keep George.

I think something is going to set off between him and callie to make him stay. addison basically said if you think george is cheating he probably is...so i look for callie to confront him and leave him or something. either that or they are going to leave it as a big cliff hanger in the season finally as to whether george will stay or go.

If he does leave, I hope it is just to go to Addison's new show! I can't imagine Greys without him!

I agree, George can't leave the show! I thought it was terrible when he told Izzie that he put in for a transfer. I am not sure what will happen, but I hope he does stay on. I had forgotten that Addison will be doing a spin-off show. I guess we will just have to wait and see what all the changes are going to be.

I think he is going to confess , and you are right , he cand leave Seattle. And I dont think he will , If he does , I will be very dissapointed being that he is one of the sweetest guys in the show!
