my boyfriend and I have been living together for almost 4 years now and we used to split the housework cause on our earlier days we were both working. When we had out 1st baby, I stopped working and since I'm a stay at home mom for now, I'm the one doing the dishes and household chores whenever he's at work. But when it's his off, it's his turn to do it. My boyfriend doesn't want me to go back out to work but I do. As for the boss question, we're equal. There's no "boss" in either one of us haha.

I tend to think I am the boss in this family. I am the only one who lives here who thinks and acts like an adult. I am the one who makes sure the house is clean, bills are paid, and the yard is straight. I am the only one who worries about anything and tries to figure out how we can advance in life. I think both husband and wife should make sure the chores are done if both of them are working, no matter if they work outside the home or not. Wives should do their part just as much as husbands should.

I'd like to say I'm the boss. lol...well I kind of am, but I don't force my husband to do anything he doesn't want to. We try to come to a decision together. We both do the dishes although I do it more because I stay at home. I used to work outside the home but when are second child was born, by the time I would pay for daycare I wouldn't be brining any money home so I became a stay at home mom.

For the most part my partner and I share all of the responsibilities of the day to day running of the household. I usually will do all the cooking, laundry, and dishes. He will vaccuum, dust, and wipe off counter tops for me. As for making rules and such we do that together.
