What is you current desk top background/wallpaper - what does that image represent to you - why did you choose it?
how often do you change it?I change mine at least every season. I recently switched it when I received some pictures my friend sent from her Hawaiian vacation. The one I chose is a picture of the surf - and the lava rocks in the foreground. I find it very peaceful and can imagine the sounds of the water as the waves come in and splash up against the rocks - and as the tide pulls back out again.

Mine is a picture of a beach in Cuba. To get us ready for our trip coming up. I am a changer of backgrounds. I recently had to restore my computer and lost many pics I had stored in my computer. I am having to rebuild my collection so to speak, so it will be awhile before I change it again.

I recently had my computer crash as well, makes me sick all those lovely photos that I had lost.
hey! I would love to see the picture of the Cuban beach..
when are you leaving, I hope you will give your mylot friends a heads-up so we won't worry too much when we start missing you.

I will upload what pics I have of Cuba to my profile page so you can see them. I am going to Cuba the end of July-early August. I will let you guys know and I will post even more pics when I get back !!

My background picture is of my hubby who is currently away in Africa for five weeks. He took a couple pictures and sent them to us so I used one of them as my background. I miss him bigtime!! I tend to change my background often, depending on how I am feeling.

mine is a family picture taken at a cousin's wedding. whenever i feel tired from working (at the office), i just look at my wallpaper and it makes me smile :)

My daughter is into anime and manga, so she has tons of pictures about her favorite characters downloaded. About once a week she changes the background to one of those. Then, when I notice the new background, I ask about it. It gives us a point of contact to talk about her interests, which I like. So I never know what my background is going to look like next! Right now it is a drawing of two wolves that someone did.

I normally choose soothing pictures of sceneries. I am the only one who will see my wallpaper so I do not need to choose any to represent me. I don't need to impress anyone. I just need something nice to look at myself.

I have a picture it is called "Purple Lake" and well its a lake with a dark and light purple sky with mountains in the distance! I change my background about every 2 weeks or so.. or when someone sends me a picture that I like! I chose that background because it is purple and that is my favorite color and I just liked the picture!

I currently have a photo of my new niece that was just born on April 17, 2007. I enjoy keeping family pictures on my desktop, usually my children, husband or parents. It just reminds me to pray for them everytime I see it.

The wallpaper I have right now is one I created. It has the Charmed sisters on one side and a calendar on the other. I like having a calendar available so I can check dates as need be. I change mine a lot actually. When ever I make a new one I check it on my computer before adding it to my one site. It might stay up there for a while and other times I am switching every day. Depends on my mood and how often I make new ones.

Right now, my desktop shows a photograph of the physicist Stephen Hawking floating in zero gravity on a space shuttle! He chose to float along with an apple, as a tribute to Issac Newton. I find the image a great motivator-- Hawking overcame so many disadvantages, including being wheelchair-bound and permanently paralyzed, and became one of the greatest scientists in human history-- it's hard NOT to be inspired by someone like that. Plus, in the photograph he just looks so happy, it always makes me smile.

Mine desktop is a fantasy art pic. It is a full moon, because I praise to the moon Goddess. It is quite beautiful.
I change my background all the time, almost every other week. I like a change. I usually have a fantasy art pic up, because I just love fantasy art.

My desktop background is one from The Lakehouse. I really really love this movie. Top favorite actress and one of my top favorite very hot actors Keanu Reeves. Plus the story is SO romantic I could die! Ah! So I got that picture from online and I like it too much to change it :))

My home computer just has one of the standard, boring Windows desktop backgrounds right now. I got tired of the picture I had up before and changed it in a hurry. I usually change them about every three or four months. My work computer has a picture of my basset hound when she was just a puppy.

In my Computer the Background is xp default the pics. But i have an software which is frequently changing the pics which time i set.

Mine is water with seas shells and fish, which I have used just a short time. I had tulips for about a month and my computer crashed losing some items. My older lap top has waterlilies, which I grow for a living. The fish are certainly easier to take care of this way, as I have many fish in my home.

My current desk top wallpaper is a picture of sky, and there are two feathers flying. I feel it is very peaceful, so I've used it for quite a long time.
