Were the Boomtown Rats realy ever any good? / myLot

I don't Like Mondays is currently playing - I used to really like this song but now Bob Geldof's voice is just annoying me. how come nobodies tried to blame any school shootings on him? Used to like Rat Trap too but I can't listen to it now as it just sounds like a bad Springsteen copy and just end up getting anoyed at the stupid kids who think running away from home (because they can't watch Top Of The Pops), & dropping out of school to work in a factory is a good idea.

I loved the Boomtown rats when I was a teen. I still do. I think Bob Geldof's claim to fame is more than just a band and hit songs. The good this man has done for society is no comparison. His music was good but his humanity is great.

Uhhhh... I dunno, I thought they were passing. Used to have a record of theirs. Though I can't honestly say that they were any better than the garage bands that I once knew and played with. ;) Still they were our kind of...rough. :)
