episode 20

Has anyone noticed the scar on Peter's face? How did he and can he get that? Doesn't he have the power to regenerate himself? He's not suppose to develop a scar then. Do you have any comments to make on this show? I'm real interested in seeing how Matt turned so so bad. Isn't he at least curious as to why Nathan had other powers besides flying? I think he love his job more. He became more than just a mere police.

Well, remember when he had that piece of glass in his brain, he couldn't regenerate. So maybe the scar formed over some debris as a result of the explosion. That's my working theory anyway. I don't think Matt is really bad. I think he's been led astray by some evil people. And he's trying to protect his son (who I'm guessing has a power).

Peter regenerated after it was pulled out. I'll be interested to see how Peter got his scar. Maybe whatever that did it can be done to Sylar to kill him. As for Matt, didnt' he always want to get a higher rank in his job. He's part of homeland security in the future. I'm sure that was a plus factor to make him join that side. Also his son is like him but why kill Bennet then? Bennet did help him hide his son.

Actually I like that theory of his scar. It was easy for Peter to regenerate with the glass because it was one piece, but I can see how having debris in his wound would cause some sort of scarring. Nicely done :)

It's a nice theory indeed. But... that kind of scar wasn't caused by an explosion. It seems it was caused by a sword, a knife or something that could cut, not explode. Maybe Sylar took Hiro's sword and tried to kill Peter, but somebody (Molly?) stopped him before he could suceed. Hiro's sword is so powerfull (the comic book shows Hiro killing Sylar using it - so it MUST be VERY powerfull) that even Peter couldn't heal the cut.

I think "Nathan" just kept his other powers under rap until now. The only reason he showed his other powers was to save his own life by not letting Hiro go back in time and kill him. Matt is probably just in all the bad stuff to save his kid, who probably had powers and his wife. I was curious about the whole scar thing too on Peters face. Maybe the blast was to much for him to regenerate fully?

I think its some kind of hint. Whatever gave Peter his scar can be used against Sylar (if he did get to Claire beforehand). Would be pretty interesting to see what other heroes the script writers can cook up. That duel between Peter and Sylar in the end looks pretty good.

Dont know about the scar on peters face, but matt is not bad. Like they said so many times in that episode, there was a war, and everyone had to choose sides. When does nathan aka sylar show his powers apart from flying off in the middle of the conference, killing claire, and showdowning with peter. So how would matt know?

He went in front of the door and pulled Peter through it. I wonder if Matt saw it or did Sylar put an illusion.

Did he now? I thought he didn't get the chance cause he blew up her brain. He gets powers by studying their brains doesn't he? If Matt was persuaded he would be doing it in a zombie way. He was persuaded to eat doughnuts by eden wasn't he and he just did it like his mind was somewhere else.

Guys, Sylar got Eden's ability of persuasion. So he could easily manipulate Parkman to do whatever he wants him to.

i think the cause of that is hero nakamura's sword.. nakamura's sword has a power to eliminate the powers of other heroes

I didnt' know his sword has the power to eliminate other powers. I thought the sword enhances the bearer's powers.

I think it's unlikely Hiro hurting Peter... but it's an interesting explanation about how he got his scar.

I honestly can't imagine why Peter got that scar on his face, since he's able to regenerate as Claire does. What I don't understand is: if Matt can read minds, why didn't he read "Nathan's" mind and found out that he, actually, was Sylar? And I think Syler uses his persuasion ability, stolen from Eden, to make Parkman do whatever he wants him to.

Yeah, there wasn't an episode where he uses the persuasion power... yet! :D But as I said in another topic, I think Peter got the scar from a fight with Sylar. Maybe Sylar takes Hiro's sword and hurts Peter. And the sword is so powerfull that even Peter couldn't heal himself.

The one thing I noticed was that future Hiro said that he tried to stab Sylar in the past, but he just healed over, so he assumed he had gotten to the cheerleader. But, it's entirely possible that he tried to stab Peter when he was trying to, or just before, he exploded and Peter has the ability to absorb other powers from other heroes. I wonder about Peter being a bad guy in the future as well.

That happened because Sylar killed Claire at homecoming. The future Hiro then went back in time to tell Peter to save her. I still don't see Peter being a bad guy yet (even his future self). I'd certainly like to see when did Sylar get to Candice. I do wonder if Peter absorbs powers by being near the person or by seeing the person use their powers. I mean Sylar had heightened sense of hearing (episode 16) and yet Peter didn't seem to get them when he met up with Sylar in the previous episode.

IMO, maybe it has to do with the sword of Hiro's. Perhaps, at some point, Sylar got a hold of it, used it on Peter. Before he could kill Peter, the Haitian came in, and Slyar fled. While in the Haitian's presence, and the mystical abilities of the sword, Peter's unable to heal that wound.

Hair styles isn't a big deal. You can change it any time. People does it all the time. I have a guy friend who had changed his hair style 6 times in the whole year.
