do you want to get very old? do you think thats great being old? having grandchildren around you, enjoying your life, having times for things you couldnt do while you was working? or you think i dont prefer to get rather old. For the most things you would like to do, you so or so cant do anymore if you are old and your health is not the best. life can be rather boring, if you are old. do you think that way? how old you want to be? 100?

No, i don't think i want to get very old. I am afraid to reach the age where i am already too helpless coz i will just pity myself. I just want to reach the age where i can still do things, does not have alzheimers disease and everything...And i have the fear of getting alone when i got old...

thank you for your answer. loneliness is really a problem in the age. normally if you are married, and your husband is older, you will be alone, and if your children dont live in the same town or you dont have any children, loneliness will be a great issue. I am also afraid of this.

learn to die is probably the most difficult thing in this world.

I'm at midway as Dante could say. I do not care how long should I live. I think that the quality of life is more important than how does it last! We are not supposed to decide such questions, and I'm happy for this. I think that in old age there are more problems but if you reach a big age it depends on the complexion of your body and a bit on the environment in which you had the possibility to live.

i also think one of the main factors if you still enjoy life in age is your personal health. if you still have the body to allow you to be independent, high age is enjoyable.

I don't know how many years I'll be able to leave and, frankly, I don't care it at all. My two grandmothers are still alive, one is 90 years old and the other is 91 years old, and she lives with her sister (my aunt) who is 93 years old. So, if my DNA doesn't lie, I could live still enough years.... but in truth I live without thinking how many years I have to live again. I love children, so I'd really like to have a lot of grandchildren, but if I'll die before.... never mind, I take it easy.
