I got a message back from Mylot this morning in regards to the earnings situation. I hope this clears up a few things for some people. It's certainly set MY mind at ease.
I'll post the message I sent to them, and then the reply they sent to me.
Hi, I wonder if you can help me.
I don't appear to have been credited with the earnings that I made on Sunday the 29th of April. When I checked my earnings list, there is no Sunday the 29th of April there. I didn't post a lot on that Sunday, but I should have at least gotten SOMETHING so I don't understand why it's not on my list.
Also, there have been stories circulating that Mylot is closing. Is this true?? I do hope not. Ive been here since February and although there have been a few glitches here and there it's been a wonderful experience.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
We are now doing auto recalcs every 3 days. This process runs automatically overnight (our time) and recalculates the current month to date each time.
As far as myLot being sold or shutting down we want you to know that these rumors are far from true.

It's good to know that these situations are being taken in hand. While they didn't answer my first question directly, I've taken it to mean that they'll add my earnings on the next time they do the automatic earnings recalculation.
I'm also pleased to discover that they're NOT shutting down or selling Mylot. People had said that these rumors were all over the mylot discussion boards, and so now, hopefully, we can put those rumors to sleep lol.

Thanks for the info. I am glad to know they are not shutting down. I enjoy my experience here and my mylot friends. Glad to see you got a reply back from them so quickly. That also lets me know they try to keep us happy. They didn't leave you hanging for a week or so.

I too enjoy my experience here and my friends. It's given me a new lease on life.
I have to admit that I'm surprised that they responded so quickly to be honest. I've sent them messages before and they never responded to them. It was good to see it waiting for me when I got up today.

But of course they won't confirm those rumors publicly ;), that would be bad till an announcement would be made :P. Or they are simply speaking the truth of course, hehe.
Nice little update though, so if anything goes on there might be just an automatic recalc having to be done yet or though.

I agree that they won't publicly state it till it's finalized should they shut down, but the direct way in which they told me leads me to believe that they're telling the truth.
Sometimes, when they're shutting down, but don't want to tell you, they tend to try and edge their way around it, almost without even realizing it.

thats great they did point it out. these rumours have to stop, it is not necessary to post that mylot may close only to get the earnings from the discussion. thank you for posting the answers you get sweet.
i think mylot is very supportive, because i had a question about someone cheating another site and they did solve this problem and answered as soon as it was possible. i wish there where more doing that.

I think more of the members that have been here longer are starting to do more in the way of reporting rule and regulation violations these days.
It's the only way we can get rid of those people. I had heard that the Mylot police were on strike ages ago, but I don't know what happened with that, so for now, it's up to us still.
I'm glad that Mylot were prompt in getting back to me, it was nice to see that, and it's cleared up a few things for me.

I know of another discussion board that's being sold, but they announce it to the members and provide any additional information on how the members will be affected.
I had not heard anything about MyLot being sold. Makes me wonder if someone isn't just stirring up some mischief and sent out a rumor to see how far it would go before someone checked it for accuracy. Goodness knows, you can't believe everything you read, but it is good that you confirmed your facts before spreading it further. Thanks for letting us know the results of your MyLot inquiry.

Yes, I too would have thought that if Mylot were to be sold or shut down, that they would at least let us members know how we'd be affected as and when things happened.
I agree that it might have been a rumor started by a member looking to make some money, and regardless of whether it's true or not, rumors like that quickly get out of hand.
I'm not a believer of rumors till I have the cold hard facts, and so I wanted to check it out for myself before confirming or denying anything.

Don't think they are closing down - unless that $1000 is for something like closing down sales. :P
But did they answer your question? There shouldn't be a missing line regardless whether auto calculation is done every 3 days or not...

I think rather than having to go through their system to add the missing day, that they've just added the earnings on to what I earned yesterday. It definitely makes more sense that way.
Either way, I earned FAR more than I thought I would have yesterday lol.

I really don't think so, my friend. You should mail them again... I had a line EVERYDAY. It doesn't make sense for it to be different for you. I wouldn't want you deprived of earnings that are rightfully yours.

Thanks for posting this discussion. It is always Good to be able to hear things like this from someone. I know even though the Pay has gone way back down again, I am in this site for way more than the $$. I have been able to Cash out each month, but I have also made a lot of Friends in the process, so this is Good as well. I feel the Friends and learning a lot about a lot of different subjects on here count for more than the earnings. Most would not continue to be here and post month after month if it was for the Earnings. There has to be more than that in the first place to continue to keep people here.

I too am here for more than the $$. It just weirded me out that there was a full day missing in my earning stats.
There are a lot of people here and yes, I agree that they have to be here for more than the earnings. Lets face it, it's not like any of us are making enough to be a work at home person, earning just on Mylot.
The pay has gone way back down again, but I'm not really bothered, I have a LOT of fun here and I also feel it's helped to lift my depression too.

It´s good to know that the site is not going to shut down. I would really miss this place, inspite of the glitches. I haven´t seen any rumours about this subject here, but that´s probably because lately I tend to stick to my friends discussions. Unfortunately I haven´t got the time for much more.

I too hadn't seen any rumors about Mylot closing down. I found out yesterday in one of my previous discussions lol. I decided that seeing as how I was going to message Mylot anyway, that it was worth the extra seconds it would take to add a sentence to the end of the message about it.
I'm glad they got back to me too. I wasn't expecting a response at all, let alone one so quickly.

I also have an earning missing, but it is from several months ago. I do beliv ethat that there will be things like this happening from time to time. Glad to hear that they atleast are saying that Mylot is here to stay..

Oh, I'm sure that things like this will happen from time to time too. After all, nothing runs perfectly all of the time no matter what.
I'm very glad that Mylot is here to stay. It's been an amazing journey, and one that I'm eager to continue.

Thanks for the much needed information, because I too have had some questions as regards my earnings which I believe have been cleared up to an extent. As for myloy sutting down, that would be terrible, but I feel ok now that they said it's not true.

I think too, that Mylot are getting ready to sort out payments for this month which should be in a week or ten days or so. The earnings will fluctuate to some extent till then.
I too am glad Mylot isn't shutting down or being sold. It certainly set my mind at rest.

Oh, I didn't heard anything about this rumor. I must be too slow to catch on with the latest tidbits here, LOL!!! Thanks for sharing this one. I have to say that my earnings haven't change much. No additional cents added. I actually didn't mind this issue anymore. If mylot deemed it necessary not to give me any earnings for that day, then so be it. I'm still here and pounding on my keyboard.

I totally admire your attitude to this, nd it's something I should remember.
After all, mylot don't have to pay us anything at all, yet they do. I just got weirded out by the fact that there was a day missing in my earnings lol.
It hasn't changed my attitude to Mylot in any way though. I'm still here, and have no plans of going anywhere :P

Lol, yeah, someone else said they wouldn't announce it publicly too, and thats a good point.
However, I've found that when people are lying, they tend to try and edge their way round things, and thats when things start to look shifty. Admin were very adamant that they're not closing or selling, and thats good enough for me.

But I certainly do not listen to those as sometimes it is just set of to get People going and to try and pull the Site down thats all it is
I mean if it does close I will be one Member that will be devastated like many others here will be but until mylot says it is I am not going to listen

I hadn't heard the rumors too until yesterday LOL. I was quite shocked to be informed that they were all over the Mylot discussions. I guess I missed them somewhere along the way LOL.
However, I wanted to be sure, and since I was messaging Mylot anyway, it just made sense to ask them while I was contacting them.
Their answer greatly reassured me.

You know, it's funny because I was told that these rumors were all over the discussions, yet I hadn't seen any, and it seems a huge number of people responding here hadn't seen the rumors either.
Either way though, I'm glad that Mylot were able to clear the matter up. It's set my mind at rest, and I'm sure many others feel reassured too.

They may or may not only they know it. If they assure you that they're not, then no reason for you not to believe. It just makes sense anyways. Why would they sell mylot if in fact it's growing fast and it has been here for years and has a huge amount of loyal followers.

Well, I think ultimately, if someone offers you a huge wad of cash, and you feel the time is right, you could part with anything. At the end of the day, money talks.

Thankyou for posting the mesages. It shows the dedication of the mylot admins to respond to the messages that they get. And about the rumors, when a site is going very fine then the rumors wil definately start to act against them because some people ( may be the promotors of scam sites) dont like any real sites that pay .Any how admin is taking cae of thesee dubts it is nice to hear..

It does show the dedication of Admin to take these things seriously. Those guys work very hard to keep things running as they should and thats great.
Rumors will always wind up somewhere and people will inevitably start to get worried, or they'll ignore them.
I personally try to find out whether a rumor is true or not, then I can figure out my next course of action. However, I was very pleased to find out that Mylot have no plans to shut down or sell. Thats the best news for us members.
