to my Bf's preferences. He wanted cooked macaroni with one can of tuna and mayo and a can of peas! WOW! I usually boil at least 6 eggs with my macaroni (to dice into the salad and slice on top) and I also add celery onions and chunks of cheese. When I suggested this to him he turned up his nose so I had to settle for the plain version he wanted. Does anyone have any recipes for macaroni salad to share? Without onions preferably cus my BF hates them. Thanks!

I like to put everything into my salad. Tomatoe's, cukes, eggs, sharp & monteray jack cheese, green & red peppers, Black olives, tuna fish, mayo, onions (optional)celery seed & a little garlic powder. I use a pound of macaroni, so by the time I'm done I have about 2 pounds of salad. My mom used sometimes put canned shrimp as well as tuna in hers.

for a plain tuna macaroni salad that is still interesting just like more or less the way you did by cooking macaroni by boiling to al dente, add drained tuna flakes in oil , pineapple tidbits, peas, celery, mayonnaise , chunks of cheese, and a tablespoon of caro syrup or even condensed milk will do. mix everything well then chill and more tastier when serve with lettuce and tomatoes on sides and topped with bacon bits.
