What do you do when you get mad?

Do you avoid people for awhile?
Call someone up and talk too much?
Do you get on the internet and just mindlessly surf thru pages and pages of stuff?
Or do you clean your house?
I usually go thru and reorganize everything. Does this mean I am strange??
I think that it is better than screaming at someone, although I have been known to do that too.
So what are some good ways to handle anger??

I prefer to exercise it off, and as hard as I can. I go for long, fast walks, exercise at the gym, swim for lap after lap, do housecleaning and organizing, or whatever I can to burn it off. Its better than punching someone in the noggin or yelling at someone.
No, I dont think that it means you are strange, at all. Sometimes I do the same thing. I think its actually constructive.

Thats what think. I was hoping someone else did too.
Also I have been telling any complaining child that gets too close to me with too much complaining being done, that if they will clean something then their problem will go away.
Such as my daughter says I have a headache, I say well go lay down and see if that helps, she says, I don't want tooooo and so on.
So I say well if you clean the bathroom spotless then your headache will go away. LOL
Then someone else will say that they have nothing to do or something negative.. so I give them some sort of chore,
and if nothing else the house is cleaned in short order.
And I don't hear so much complaining or someone saying "I'm mad"" anyone that says that gets to clean something until they are unmad..
My kids say I am strange LOL

I don't think you are strange at all. That is a very good way to deal with anger. I have yelled sometimes, I have vented to my hubby or a close friend, and I have prayed as well as shut out the person. Everyone is different, and deals with it differently.

I used to get angry and yell alot! However, I have changed alot when dealing with anger. I now clean my house, exercise or go to the beach. I found that I have to stay away from shopping malls because I tend to make impulse purchases. I am trying to not get angry any longer. I feel that it is working for me and I am becoming a much calmer person. I am also much more relaxed in my everyday life!
