What is the equation for how much the banker offers?

Now after watching this show a few times I used to think the banker offered what he felt like offering...There was a contestant who was on once who kept getting mad at the banker and had her whole family saying he was being unfair with what he kept offering but really...there has to be some type of equation he uses divided by the of what's left on the board to make his offer.

I think he makes offers that he feels like making. Obviously it has to do with the numbers that are left on the board. I do not think he has an equation to how much he will offer you but we do know that he will not offer more than the highest number that is left on the board at the time. He also maybe making offers based on how he feels about a person and the way that they are acting on stage.

On last night's show, someone had broken the record for walking away with the lowest amount ever. Her highest offer was $140 somethin thousand, and then she avalanched on down to $1.

I agree with a third comment. I think it is based on probability of one case containing certain amount. So it has to be a formula and yeah the guy up there is probably just a producer he just pushes the button to calculate.

I think it all is done by computers that are calculating the odds based on what amounts are left and what amounts have already been eliminated. I really don't think the guy up in that booth is a banker, but a producer or sponsor.

It seems like it's based on the amounts remaining on the board as well as how much the banker feels the player might quit for.
