How can I save Trees???

Please tell me How would I save the trees which is cut down by Indian Govt itself. I love trees and i can not see the destruction of trees. Indian Railway opens a new fast local train which is much modern than old indian railway, they are spreading the railway line through the heart of the city and making the way for it they are cutting the trees and greenary i am just feeling helpless to see the cutting of the trees becouse it is done by Govt.To Whom I should contact and reported. As per my calculation they are cutting 30 Trees in a day , and the process have gone 90 days old they have cut down almost 2700 trees.
Please do tell me salution for prevention of Environment.

If we just stop the cutting trees and let regenerate forest and pasture lands then also we can vegetate our earth very nicely! But....
Yes, this BUT is always there and it is related with our need and things are not good! Only individual can do some thing if they have place; even in galory!
So you can do by your own, grow tree or galory-plants to satify yourself!

I'm gonna tell you a virtually effortless but effective way of saving the trees.
This morning, I found a program that will optimize your PC to run at a lower power consumption. It will also tweak some settings for it to be more efficient. With lesser power consumption, there will also be lower CO2 emissions therefore lessening the risk of global warming. By this, lower number of trees will dry of drought and the trees are saved.
