I do, so do you have a holiday decoration from a holiday that has passed that didn't make it into the box to be put away or was just left up by mistake and you have not put it away yet?? I have a kitchen rug that says "Merry Christmas" that I keep saying I am going to throw it away and get something for the season, what about you?

Put something away? Heck, I never got anything out either - maybe some paper.... Nope, I bought a few things & they didn't get put away because I'm just too lazy!

Don't laugh but I know it's not leaving decorations out per se, however when I was a teenager, quite a rebel at times I would actually PLAY Christmas carols in June! I don't think my neighbours or parents come to think of it knew what to make of me! I was strange, hell I still am, why haven't got some tinsel up still! I love Christmas and find it so depressing taking the decs down, hell why can't it be Christmas every day, there's a song about that, anyhow I'm off before I'm carted off to the funny farm x

My wife collects snowman and we usually leave them up all year. However, my daughter moved back home last August and got 2 cats who live with us. The liked to knock down things on top of the large bookcase in our living room where most of the snowmen resided in peace. Now the top of the bookcase is empty and will remain empty until the cats leave with my daughter. Only 2 more years to go! :)

We have to easter chicken that my partner believes to be all year round decorations. I have tried so many times to put them away but they sneak back out into the open. We do not have a lot of decorations in our apartment. It is quite minimalist really - and that is the way we both like it. I guess I have lost the battle over the chicken though. They are now a permanent decoration in our home.

I have a collection of star ornaments that I leave up for quite awhile. I decided I will take them down, but there are some that I will have to get a step stool to get, and I am not home long enough to feel like doing this.

I still have a couple Christmas knick-knacks out, but they're so small they blend in with the other knick-knacks about the living room, lol.

I still have good old Santa sitting on the shelf in my bedroom. I keep saying I am going to put him away but I usually see him when I am going to bed and I am too tired to do it. Then I don't pay attention when I wake up because I don't really see well until I have had my coffee.lol. My son still has his christmas lights on the porch and I just told him yesterday that christmas was over. They are all broke and weather beaten so he can't use them next year. But I can't expect him to listen to me if I don't follow my own advice.lol.

Yes, we are notorious for leaving Christmas decorations lying around the house for months. Last year, some Christmas decorations were left up for 3 to 6 months. One was left up until the next Christmas. We were better this year, mansging to take most down after one month. We still leave birthday cards & Easter cards on display for far too long!

I still have the string of lights and tinsel in m,y front window, but I tend to turn them on at night to scare the neighbour hood cats away. They seem to think they shouldsleep in my flowers under the window, and theflashind lights deter them

Nope, all of mine are boxed and in the spare room upstairs. But, honestly the only holiday I decorate for is Christmas and there have in the past been times I would forget or miss something and it would still be moving around the house for months later... One year we didn't take the outside lights down until May - I told everyone I was just leaving them up so when my son in the Air Force came home he could see them. Not true but sounded good at the time.

I was cleaning in the living room and moving some things around and found a Christmas garland hanging on the clock that I'd completely overlooked. I took it down, but now it isn't in the boxes of Christmas decorations. I'm glad I'm not the only one to do that.
