I had a best response picked for a discussion, a LONG time ago, and now it just popped back up into my unresolved discussions list. Does that mean that whoever i had given it to before is now deleted or banned? i dont remember who it was.. Have any of you ever had that happen to you before ?

Well, I remember when I first started, I had a hard time figuring it out till someone explained it sort of like that to me.

I have never actually had that happen. My suggestion would have been to read through the responses and see if you noticed one missing. I have had discussions that I have responded to disappear, and not be able to find any other discussions by the person that started them. A couple of days ago, there was a post that someone who was on their friends list no longer had any discussions and did not have a profile page anymore, maybe it was the same person? Can someone ask to have their discussions removed if they "quit" myLot?

It makes you wonder, and makes you more cautious when responding to discussions! I don't want to "disappear"!

You know, I think I had the same thing happen to me just this week. I swore I gave a best response to someone on a discussion a while back and then I found it in my unresolved discussions list. I went and gave another best response, but can't say if it was the same person as before. I wonder, also, if it's because a member got banned or a post was deleted.

well i don't think that mine would have been deleted.. lol it was about cheesy popcorn! haha The only thing i can come up with is that the user i gave best response to has dissapeared. or deleted. Hey what if someone who gets banned gives YOU a best response!! does it get taken away ?!

That would be my guess, that the person whom you had given the best result to closed their account or lost their account for some reason (goodness only knows there's a million things going nuts on MyLot sometimes and perhaps the account simply disappeared on them! LOL) But if I had to guess at what happened that sounds logical to me. I'm not sure I pay close enough attention to remember if I've given BR's on a discussion to realize if it suddenly came back into the unresolved discussions! LOL You're a pretty "alert" gal!

I had this happen to me a few weeks ago and after some searching I managed to find the response that I origanally gave the best response to, It even said "thank you for the best response" but somehow it got unchecked. I just gave it back to the same post that I originally gave it to. I cant say that I know how it happened but it did. Take care!!
