Part of me would love to be a storm chaser, the excitment and also knowing I could possible help people live by spotting tornados and such. But the other part of me see hows dangerous it could be if caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. What about you?

No, I would never do that, but I'm really not a thrill seeker. I need to think about living and being alive for the sake of my family.

I cannot really comment on how dangerous a tornado actually is when attempting to come close to one, but I feel that those who risk their lives do it simply for the thrill of doing so. Another reason they may do it is the fact that images and video of such tornados are not cheap, and can be sold to media companies for quite some money. I would personally not like to become a tornado chaser as I am not into video and filming, but I do like the idea of chasing a tornado for the thrill of being part of such an immense storm up close.

I think Im like a lot of people happy to watch one from the safety of my armchair on the TV screen. Thats as close as I would want to get. But appreciate it would be a life changing experience to see a real one. Trouble is is could be a short lived change the power and unpredictability of it.
