I've heard alot on the topic "Water Retention". I'm not very sure what causes it. Is it due to excess water consumption? And is there a way to get rid or prevent it?

moomincat It can result in a very swollen tummy. Puffiness around the ankles and sometimes the eyes.

moomincat I know that it is very healthy to drink plenty of water everyday. It helps to keep the kidneys healthy. There are alsorts of herbal remedies for water retention. if it is very severe you should consult a doctor.

moomincat I was born by the sea. Although I dont live there I have to go to the beach or shore every year. Walk for miles along it. This is the only way I can clear my mind. I think it is the enormity of the ocean, it helps you keep everything in perspective.

moomincat You might be interested in the Diary of Anne Frank it is a book written about her experiences of being in hiding before being arrested and taken to the camps with her family. There is an old film that relates the story aswell by the same name. Very very sad.
