It's Teacher appreciation week this week. Please remember teachers and staff. I always seem to be behind the 8 ball on this one. How I am trying to play catch up this week. I'm making pins and I have a basil plant for all the teachers. In past years I would make a gift for each day but my kids would get picked on for doing this so I stopped. The pins I am making look like a small ruler and they say teacher's rule! hehhehehheh

Thanks for mentioning this. I'm a teacher and I wasn't even aware of this. So few people really understand how hard teachers work and how much patience and effort goes into a job that really never pays enough money. It's nice to know that there are people out there that do care.

I do try money is a bit tight right now, but I have a cute little pin and plant fot the teachers. I will see if I can come up with more. Drying time is killing me tonight. I love my boys teachers, and I make sure I tell them often just what I think of them. I try to just stick to the good. One of my son's teachers is really really really way too hard on those kids. He's kind of a bad word in this house. So I dont have very much to say to him. The others I tell them via email how great they are. I also tell the BOSS! Sorry I'm babbling again!

I saw the note in my son's back pack on Friday. Our city had their heritage day Saturday, I took him with me, and he picked out magnets shaped like apples, one said A+ teacher, one said #1 teacher, the third for his reading teacher said "A" is for apple. He picked them out himself and was so proud to take them. He didn't take anything today, tomorrow he'll be taking a note pad to each of them and on Friday he'll take metal roses for each.(I buy these whenever I see them and keep them on hand for teachers). I have to skip Tuesday and Thursday because he has 3 teachers and that gets too expensive.

OHHH very sweet. Teachers seem to love pins and magnets. Maybe I'm wrong but if its from the heart they love it!
Last your our principal retired he is very missed. I found a rock and I put his name on it. I wrote a little note saying that my boys think you rock Mr Baker. He loved it and wrote both of them a thank you. Was a silly lil gift and it didnt cost anything to make but I think it really touched him. There I go again babbling!
