we never stop loving our first love,,,true???

ceylezflores @ceylezflores (4) • Philippines 5 Jul 11

I've heard lot of people saying "first love never dies" & that your first love will forever be in your heart,,that first love will always has a place in your heart...

first love

gapeach65 I think every person is different, some people don't believe that first love is forever...I think it is. Years after my first love and I parted ways, we reconnected. It was like no time had passed at all. The feeling of love I have for him is just as strong...

Saying "I love you" - less of what it should be said for.

FickleSky @FickleSky (140) • Philippines 24 Sep 11

Nowadays, I have always been hearing people saying "i love you" just like saying "hi" to an acquaintance. I just don't agree with it to be used just as careless as it has been used these days. When people that are not really close...

gapeach65 We had a family friend growing up and every time she saw us she would say I love you so many times in the the same visit that it really lost it's meaning. It sort of became a joke...don't get me wrong we did and do still love her, but we don't think it needs...

Love hurts!

Business101 @Business101 (59) • United States 1 Sep 11

Love hurts is not just a song, it rings true. When you open yourself up to get close to someone, that's when you are vulnerable. It's amazing how many times someone can get hurt and come back and do it all over again. My friend...

gapeach65 I agree love hurts, whether it's true love or just a crush. I dated this guy, we rarely saw each other or talked to each other. When we did, it was always when he decided. He'd say he'd call and wouldn't or say that we'd get together and we wouldn't. It never...

Have you ever looked at your ex and thought, 'what was I thinking?!"

Staki54 @Staki54 (25) • South Africa 4 Sep 11

It is indeed sometimes true that love is blind. When you first fall in love with someone you think they are AMAZING! And then when you break up and see them again a while after the break-up you think "what was I thinking, dating...

seeing an ex

5 responses

gapeach65 I don't have a clue what I saw in my ex, besides maybe an escape from my parents. I had a daughter and felt like I'd never find anyone who wanted to be with me. I also think it was the excitement of an older man being interested in me. He cheated on me for 6...

Should everyone have a "bucket list?'

callystos @callystos (5) • United States 3 Nov 08

Over the weekend I had a chance to rent the movie called "The Bucket List," starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. It was funny and touching and I cried like a baby. Not because of the movie itself, but because of the things...

Are you a thrift and/or yard sale shopper, or even a garbage picker?!!

nanajanet @nanajanet (4436) • United States 2 Nov 08

I find more reward in shopping in thrift shops, yard sales and online auctions and sales than I do going to a retail store. I think it is like hunting or a scavenger hunt. You never know what you will find that is a great buy. I...
