Which do you like better charcoal or gas? My answer Charcoal! I have always owned a Charcoal grill, and will never own a gas grill. Why? Because first off the food taste so good. It tastes like it has been grilled. Second it's fun lighting the grill, thats what BBQing is all about. Gas grilled food doesn't taste the same, it is just a convience, might as well cook on your stove, plus propane cost money. Plus lets say your food is ready to grill, and you are outta gas, and can't get any at that time. At least with charcoal, you know where you stand. So what be your choice and why?

Charcoal rules! to me it really isn't cooking on a grill until you use charcoal and get that awesome flavor from it. Gas grills are just like cooking on the stove inside

I agree 100%! Charcoal is king. But for slow-cooked food, it's hard for me to use charcoal as all I have is a mini weber. I use the oven and then finish on the grill so it tastes good. There really is nothing like that flavor.

Nice that summer is coming again, outdoor season and all of a sudden we are bbqing again. Nothing tastes better in summer and it has to be charcoal! It is that special taste we love, one protion we want and all of a sudden we ate two portions because it tasted so good. Funny thing is, no matter which meat or fish ot vegetable is on a charcoal grill, all tastes perfect.
