Mylot,How has it affected you?

Most people have joined mylot for one reason, making money. However they have come to find that it isn't a get rich quick sceme, so they start to use it as a way to get answers. Generally using it just to talk to people about day to day issues, and to talk about other oddities. Its a way to earn a little pocket change while talking about problems we face everyday, its a good hobby. What i'm wondering is how mylot has affected the users, what good or bad has it done for them? Does this daily hobby help you or hurt you? Tell us your best mylot experiences, and how mylot helps you.

I guess most of us realise that we will never make millions on MyLot. Ok so the few pennies it brings in once a month is a big help but to be honest I have found some fantastic friends here, lots of love and support, laughter and tears, information and the sharing of ideas.

Your are partially correct most people join mylot eot earn money. But i wont agree totally, mylot gives minimum amount for discussions, i belive that by mylot we can create friends through out the world and exchange our ideas, and it is s best platform for friendship, I would like to friendship with u kinldy extend your hand of friendship, waiting for your reply, thanks.

Its more of a hobby for me.It really has helped my typing skills and I have met some great friends here that we keep in touch.

Yeah. If I had myLot as my only source of income right now, and had to depend on it to pay for rent, food, etc., I'd be pretty bad off. I have no referrals right now, and joined only recently.
But, it might pay for some chocolate bars for me or something. It's good for pocket change, at least.

I am actually new here in myLot, but its actually affecting my perseverance. I have this aim to get rich someday. Actually I am still young but I already work for an Internet company that gives social networking system. After finding out about myLot could be a way of getting extra income, I tried it, and finding my self earning little by little, i got more motivated to reach for my goal. Now its a hobby for me to check on myLot atleast before i go home, just to earn some extra penny, and to see to it that someday it would turn out to be an extra cash income=D

Hi, I joined mylot as someone was talking about it on another discussion website that I used to go to, so I thought I would take a look, only then did I realise that you actually got paid for being here, ok it's not huge amounts but it gives you incentive to type away while you're up to not much else!

I don't think mylot affected me .. but I guess I am crazy about mylot now.. I just love to respond to as many discussions as possible, talk to people worldwide, making new friends here .. it's just simply awesome .. Mylot rocks :)

You are right. Previously I had a blog in rediff.com and I used to publish my ideas regularly, but the response I received was almost a big zero. then I switched over to Mylot and I am getting good responses. It is infact the attention I am received is the reason for staying with Mylot or mylot members.

For me it's just a nice active place with a wide variety of topics being covered, nice way to stay busy. But I can't say it really helps me in any way or something.
