Does anyone have a menu for the different seasons? I have a spring/summer menu, and a fall/ winter menu. I love to cook in the winter, but like easier lighter fare for the summer months.

Yes, we have different foods for different seasons. Winter is time for hearty stews and poultry, solid food, food that warms up from the inside. Summer is time for light soups and salads and fruit dishes and more cold dishes and more ice-cream. And there is always fruit and vegetables of the season, so eating is never boring.

I also have different menus for different seasons. In the fall and winter my husband and I make a lot of soups for meals and also make a lot of meat and potato meals. Now in the spring and summer we do a lot of cooking on the grill and also make a lot of salads! In most of the salads I like to try a lot of different fruit or vegetables. If you get a chance you should try mango on a salad! It is wonderful topping it off with a vingarette.

I do the same. I have more water, smoothies, salads in summer and more stews, casseroles, and bread in winter.
