More Awards and Recognitions for Girl Scouts

Girl Scout 10-year pin - These three girls recently received their 10-year pins.

Three of our scouts received their 10-year pins last night at their school's Spring band concert. Their band teacher who is a former Girl Scout helped to present the pins. For more information, look in the Girl Scout Leader interest group since I accidentally posted the article twice. Please share your troop's accomplishments and highlights for the 2006-2007 year of scouting.

I could have sworn I responded to this already, but them maybe because of the photo, I have seen it before. I think it is great that the school allowed them to receive their pins at a school event. I am also glad that they were not ashamed of being girl scouts!! A lot of the older girls here want to stay in scouts, but would die if anyone knew it!LOL
