The comic strips have been very sensational before and I believe a lot of people until now like reading such materials. Personally, I read comic strips when I find it in newspapers and I still find it interesting though it's not that modern in nature. I particularly like the daily strip 'Pugad baboy' which focuses on political and economic issues in the Philippines. How about you? Do you still read comic strips?? What comic strips do you read?? Please share...

Tinkle and Tintin, very interesting title. I might try to find some for me to read too. Comic are indeed better because they're never boring. Thanks for this response!

When I was young, I can still recall that my father was borrowing Tagalog comics from his friend placed in a box. Those must be plenty! I would read the following: 1. Wakasan Comics - most of the stories has an ending right away except for the Tubig at Langis which has series of continuations 2. Angkan ni Zuma 3. Xerox 4. Mong 5. Medusa 6. Dodong Daga 7. Funny Comics 8. Others I cannot recall others.

I just love reading comic strips in newspapers. My favourites are many. I love Peanuts', Beetle Bailey, Between friends, Archie, Blondie, Hagar the Horrible, Tintin. There are so many that I like. But I prefer the ones which have a new episode everyday. The ones that continue are irritating. I'm too impatient to wait till the next day! These strips make me relax and laugh a little everyday and thats quite nice in an otherwise, monotonous, stressful and depressing day! And by the way, Sponge Bob is my seven-year old son's favourite cartoon character.
