my 3 year old daughter woke up in the middle of the night last night. she said she had a nightmare. usually she just tells me that then says she's ok and is going back to sleep, but last night she was really scared and made me stay with her for a while and she hid under the blankets. i asked her what the dream was about then i couldn't really figure out what was scary about it. this is what she said last night and this morning.
there was cookies shaped like cows. they cracked and when they cracked they turned into juice. that's more silly than scary to me. but she was terrified.
do your kids have silly dreams that they find scary?

When my daughter was about 2 years old, she had bad dreams about pigs attacking her and babies attacking her, she would wake up yelling make them stop, make them stop. Then I bought this blanket that had a pack of wolves on it for my bed and her nightmares turned into the wolves, i got rid of the blanket and it went back to different kinds of animals and more babies attacking her in her sleep.

My little boy does that every once in a while. His last nightmare was about big,big bugs in the bed with him.I felt sorry for him because he woke up crying but after I figured out what the nightmare actually was I laughed.I have no idea why he dreamed about big, big, bugs.lol

Poor thing, that might scare us in the middle of the night though, never know =) I remember when I was little I always had nightmares, most of them were about me falling, I would be in like this huge metal tube and just falling forever, it still scares me to think about it, and I don't know why. And I would dream that me and my family were going out to eat and when we would go to sit at our table I would always knock the salt shaker over, and I would have to count every single piece of salt..how weird is that?? Counting the little tiny pieces of salt!! Crazy thing...just give her loves and let her know that you are there for her!!!

I remember doing that, and I still do sometimes, you have a dream that scares the crap out of you, and you go to tell someone about it, and cant really find anything scary about it. I dont know why it happens, but it is pretty silly when it does.
