Will you do anything special for your mother on Mother's Day??

I will go to work in the morning. My day will be like most days. If the children or the hubby have anything planned, they have been very secretive. I really don't expect anything big. They might plan a family dinner and the grandchildren might come to visit.
What will you do on Mother's Day? Has your family made any plans to do something nice for you? Will your family give you gifts?

I think it would be really nice if you could take your mom out for dinner. Better yet, get in the kitchen and cook dinner for her with your own two hands. But do not forget to clean up after yourself. I am sure you will get a big hug from your mom.

Well in two more hours, I'll be going home from work. 8am CST My hubby asked is I wanted anything and I said I wanted the laundry done, the house cleaned, and dinner cooked, so I could just sleep ! I work midnight shift and all that stuff needs to get done. If I do it all myself, I'll never get any sleep for work tonight !! I think it's pretty easy actually. Get the kids to help with most of the housework, I already separated the laundry. AND it doesn't cost a thing !! Hopefully I will get all I desire this Mother's Day (cleanliness hehe) and I hope you do to !!

Thanks for the BR.. I got to sleep, a lovely plant and a still messy house..lol Hubby did cook me some awesome Cuban food though. How was yours?

My kids bought me a new set of pans that they saw me looking at in Wal-Mart, and gave it to me early because my old set was in such bad shape that they really should have been thrown out a long time ago, but I didn't have the money to replace them.
For Mother's Day, we will be going to my mother's house and spending some time with her. My daughter took her family there today, since she will not be able to go with us tomorrow.

My daughter gave me a necklace for an early Mother's Day gift. I don't expect my boys will get me anything, but they might call me. I'm going to my mother in law's house tomorrow for Mother's Day. We're cooking out on the grill, and I made potato salad for everyone. We've got a big family, as my sister in law has 6 kids and 5 grandkids, and assorted spouses. Grammy's house will be crowded again.

My son is currently in Iraq. He talked to me on the internet for the holiday. His ex-girlfriend sent me a bouquet of everlasting flowers in a beautiful vase. My daughters cooked dinner for me.
