Family Portraits

How many family portraits do you have that were professionally taken? How often do you get one taken?
I have one right now of me, my boyfriend and first baby when she was a newborn. I dont have any family portraits taken yet of us with both of the kids.

We had out family portrait done this past week. IT was for out Church directory. They made some $$$ off of us. I was impressed with the new options that the photographers are doing these days. Now they not only sale the portrait, but the frames and great finishes too. Can't wait to get ours.

My hubby and I have decided that every Christmas we are going to get family pictures done. Our families live far away so that way every Christmas they can see how much our daughter has changed.

I've never had a family portrait. I've got professional portraits of each of my kids and I had a couple of portraits done of my oldest child with his dad but there never seem to be more than two of any of us in a picture! I would love to have a nice portrait of both my kids together and one with my 2 kids and my nephew together but there is the expense of it and then there's the matter of getting them all in the same place at the same time!
