there was a report on tv about this once, about a year ago. so it must really be true. they say that it affects the reproductive system of men more than women, and it's similar to the effect of hanging out near an x-ray machine, with all the radiation.

Yes, it is true, I have read that men are much prone to this. It is said that the combination of heat generated by the computers and the posture needed to balance the equipment on the lap leads to raised temperatures around the scrotum, a study has found. Man's body needs to maintain a proper testicular for normal sperm production and development. So ,men's long term use of laptop computers on their laps may have a detrimental effects on their reproductive health. So for you guys out there, it will be better if your laptop computers will be put on a table when using it.

I will try to search on the internet if there's a study that supports this. Although I know that there's some negative effects in using laptops but not as big as this. The heat is uncomfortable but usually laptops sits on the desk (most people do), though sometimes I still put it on my lap.

Not just that, it also is quite uncomfortable with the heat they emit these days. Your legs totally begin to feel like they're starting to burn.
